Bone Injuries and Recovery

Between winter slip and falls or sports injuries, getting back into condition should be achieved quickly to prevent reoccurring injury. Physical therapy can improve post-fracture strength and aid people in returning to their favorite activities sooner.

Physical therapy sessions will usually consist of 40-45 minutes of stretching and strengthening exercise. This is followed by 15 minutes of hands-on manual work where Dr. Mandy Kirk performs a combination of therapeutic massage, passive stretching, triggerpoint release, and myofascial release.
